SOMERVILLE, NJ, March 10, 2022 — Giftapart Foundation Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has established the Ukraine Charity Aid Fund to help Ukrainians directly impacted by the Russia-Ukraine War. “10 days. 1.5 million people. This is now the fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II. In the coming days millions more lives will be uprooted, unless there is an immediate end to this senseless conflict," tweeted the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on Sunday, March 6.
The Giftapart Foundation will collect both monetary donations and meaningful messages. Using Giftapart's unique gifting technology, contributors can provide a monetary donation and plus leave a heartfelt message to the millions of suffering Ukrainians; the donors' comments and media will be forever linked to their donation. Monetary donations will be used to purchase much needed necessities for the refugees, such as food, water, clothing, healthcare, shelter, household, hygiene items and toys for the children.

These little things connect us with each other, and this human connection with those who are struggling are so important to those in need," added Filipe Pedroso, "As to the money, the Giftapart Foundation will use it to purchase and deliver needed items for the refugees. None of the funds will be used for military equipment. It will be used for humanitarian necessities, such as food, water, clothing, healthcare, household and hygiene items, and shelter expenses. But we also intend on supplying toys for children. So many children had to abandon their homes with nothing but the clothes they were wearing, and these children could really use some toys to give them some cheer."
